My pastor referenced this book for a leadership class and it has been life changing. As a new nurse manager in the pandemic I have struggled over the past 2 years. As I’ve gone through this course I’ve found some light, guidance and hope. Leadership in healthcare appears to be operating in survival mode, which is understandable, but sad. Patients deserve better and the team members need leaders who have the skill set and wisdom to enlarge & empower staff. My plan is to share this book with my leadership team in hopes it encourages and enlarges them during some of the most difficult times we’ve ever seen in healthcare. Thank you!
