I am self teaching Japanese and word power is very helpful. I use it with a the lessons so that I have back up. Once I put the sound and the visual together my language improved more steadily.

I wish that they were more in depth with it and taught you numbers. Especially because if you're like me and want to become fluent in the language and other languages as well.

Its nice for someone who’s wondering what the Japanese language is like. This won’t teach you to be very fluent in the language, but a good start. I like that it has audio along with words and phrases. Though sometimes the audio is chopped up, or the phrase is said so quickly it’s hard to pick it up.
