Omg what can I say? I have been waiting so long for this book and It DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! I love to hate LORI even more after this book. I seriously want to reach through this book and slap her 😡😂 This book brung out so many emotions out of me and yes one was anger. I absolutely loved getting to spend some time with the trio again... and who doesn’t love JJ?? Sometimes though I wanted to reach through and shake Danny and be like “What are you doing???” Obviously I loved this book and waiting on the next... Jillian is amazing and she has done it yet again. That’s why I will ALWAYS love her and her books. Bc once i started reading this book I couldn’t put it down.

The characters in this series of Jillian's are my favorites of her. That Boy is my all time favorite of book of hers and reading these characters is always a joy for me. It was good to be back in Kansas City and finally see what was happening with Danny. Jillian does a great job in making a "villain" I wasn't sure I could dislike Lori more after That Baby but boy was I wrong. Danny definitely has the patience of a saint being married to and now dealing with her attitude about the divorce and I can't wait for him to hopefully get his happily ever after. He deserves it and so much more. Jennifer's story always intrigued me and I am rooting for her to finally put her past behind her and move forward. She is the girl we can all relate to (well, except maybe the movie star status) when it comes to demons and I can't wait to see the Jennifer we were originally introduced to. I love this group of characters and to be honest I'm not looking forward to the actual end but I can't wait to read The Ring in a few months. Her happy endings are some of my favorites. It's always sad to close a chapter with Jillian but I know it will all be worth it.

I do not recommend this book. The characters are simplistically with little depth. The male lead is all over the place emotionally and easily jumps to inaccurate conclusions. It ends with a cliff-hanger so you're forced to buy the next book in the series just to finish the story. Terrible!
  • Must read!!!

I can’t remember If I read all the books in this series or not, but it didn’t matter because I was still able to totally enjoy this book! Danny and Jennifer are sexy and fun. Phillip and Jayden are total relationship goals! Lots of love, lust and laughs in this book! It ends on a cliff hanger which totally leaves you wanting more. So I recommend having That Ring close by as not be left hanging for long! This book was everything you except from the amazing Jillian Dodd! It did not disappoint!!!

Man oh man, I was so happy when I heard Danny was finally getting his story told. He’s one character I adored in the That Boy Series. He’s fun, loving, and full of life. This book highlights that side of him even more. You know when you dislike a character with every fiber of your being? Yeh, me too. In this case it’s the evil witch, also known as, Lori. She always left such a bad taste in my mouth. We get the bad, the ugly, and the even uglier side of her in this book. I think the fact that we had someone to dislike, and I mean heavy on the dislike, helps build Danny’s story so much more. I love when a villain comes in and steals the show, and in this case Lori took the cake. We first learned of Jennifer Edwards in That Baby. She is the girl who steals the spotlight when she enters the room. The beauty in all aspects of life. And if you remember, that’s also when Danny and Jennifer initially meet; and guys that was AHfreakinMAYZING!! So fast forward fifteen years and here we are with Danny, the All American handsome QB, and Jennifer, the Girl Next Door Darling Actress. Put these two together and you’ve got yourself a perfect combination. But also add in a sour tasting Lori, and some other madness, and you’re in for a wild ride. I enjoyed the layered dynamics and different characters, they helped build what’s to come. Not only what’s to come, but the story as a whole. It’s not an easy love story. It hits in real life issues and feelings of uncertainty. If you’ve been dying for Danny, today’s the day to get your hands all over him.

This is book 4 in That Boy series and should be read in order to fully enjoy the whole story of who Danny is and all he’s gone through. Danny is such a great guy and loving father. This story is full of happiness and laughter getting to see the real Danny come back to life after his divorce. Can’t wait to read the next book.

Oh my gosh. I didn’t think I could like another couple in this series as much as I do Jayden and Phillip. I was wrong. Danny and Jennifer are so perfect together. They have been thrown so many obstacles in their journey to be together, the biggest being his wife Lori. It seems things are looking up for them to be together only for other issues to arise. After what seems to be a breakthrough for them it seems like it’s doomed. Will things work out or not?
